Champions Junior Golf Tour was founded in 2010 with the intention of providing affordable, local opportunities for boys and girls to compete in tour-style golf tournaments. Currently based in Knoxville, CJGT conducts single day tournaments in East Tennessee within 60 miles of the city during the Spring and Fall. CJGT is currently expanding into other markets in the southeast.  These tournaments allow junior golfers a unique opportunity to play in a competitive environment from age appropriate yardages while advancing their skills and receiving recognition for their talents in well-run events.  

CJGT believes playing golf provides an avenue to learn more about the core values of life. These values include but are not limit to integrity, patience, camaraderie, self-reliance, confidence, etiquette, courtesy and sportsmanship. In addition, we believe family involvement can instill a love for the game as well as confidence in a junior golfer. It's this family involvement that will ultimately help grow the game of golf. Therefore, we encourage our players in every division to have a caddy if they desire.

The Top 3 finishers in each Division will be given awards at each event, while the Top 5 in each Division will also be recognized.  Each season's Tour allows our players to earn points based on their score for every tournament played. The player in each division who accumulates the most points over the course of a Tour, including the Tour Championship in which points are awarded at 1 1/2 times the regular point total, will earn “Tour Champion” honors and awards. All players are invited to compete in each season's Tour Championship which will be held at a different course within 4 hours driving distance of Knoxville.
